Doing away with the forum?

Graveside Tales has worn many faces over the past 2 yrs. One of the things that has never changed were the forums.  At Graveside Tales we try to stay a step ahead.

In the past, Graveside Tales has entertained the idea of bringing a true social networking site to our readers and writers.   Discussion has come up again and we are seriously considering adding social networking to the site.   The feel of the site would be similar to Myspace or Facebook.

What would happen: 1) the forums and 2) Graveside Tales Social Network would be combined with the 3) homepage instead of separate sites.  Implementing such changes would allow us to have a greater control on site features and content.

We do believe it’s the next logical step for Graveside Tales.  We are asking all site visitors to help us decide by voting.

Should the forums be closed in favor of a more social network site?
