'Like Cat and Dog' audio podcast

My werewolf/werecat story from The Beast Within antho has gone live at The Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine. As before, they've done a terrific job, with several people supplying their voice talents, as well as music and sound effects. The story starts about 3.30 minutes into the podcast and lasts for half an hour. It's followed by a terrible author's note recorded by me, which the two presenters then take the piss out of for the next ten minutes. And deservedly so. I sound a right dork. Never mind, the story comes across okay. Well, better than okay, I bloody love it. If you listen to the podcast, rather than comment here, please give the folks that produce these things your feedback and encouragement by leaving a comment on the Dunesteef site.

I wouldn't worry too much about your voice. I hate my southern Texas accent, but everyone else said it sounded good.

I just finished listening to it and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was great and the voices were fantastic. A real top notch production.

Also, you didn't sound like a dork at all. I enjoy listening to English accents and I thought it was a great idea to have your daughter do the interview.

Everyone should give this a listen...I am not one who loves audiobooks, but I thought they handled the material extremely well. 

I thought the author's note was a nice touch, and very funny.

I know what you mean, Mike. I expected to hear one, maybe two guys reading my story, but you get a full cast, with music and sound effects...it's incredibly flattering to have something you wrote treated with such care. Not sure I agree with you about the author's note, mind. But thanks, anyway.
