2011 Reading periods and submissions update

Due to my surgery and other medical issues this past month, I am delaying the first reading period of 2011 by two weeks so I can get caught up.  I will reopen to submissions on March 14th, 2011, and close on May 30th, 2011.

Just thought I'd give everyone a quick update on how submissions and edits are going.
 
All synopses and sample chapters received prior to 4/22/2011 have been reviewed.  Notices will be sent according to receipt date. 
 
All requested manuscripts (to date; there will be more) will be reviewed over the next three to four weeks.  Final notices for those will be issued no later than 5/26/2011.
 
Edits on the releases scheduled for June and September are complete.  Edits for the release scheduled for August are pending, and should be complete no later than the second week of June.
 
I think that's it.  I apologize for not hanging around the forum of late.  My husband's new job keeps him away from home 25 days out of the month, so I'm basically playing single parent while still trying to juggle my regular jobs and editing.  If I haven't responded to your message or post, it isn't because I don't love you.  It's because I passed out at the keyboard before I could craft a response.

Take it easy, Myrrym.  Sounds like you have a busy scedule as of late, and it seems that you're on top of it, which is more than many others in this biz can account for.  Sometimes life is one big juggling act.
