Conventions / Horrorfind Weekend Sept 3-5 2010

Is anyone going to Horrorfind this year? I will be there all weekend. Per usual, if anyone has any flyers or books they would like me to drop off at the big flyers table...just send me a PM and I will give you my address to send them.

It is a great con and also a lot of fun...you will either find me at a reading(Keane, ketchum, williamson, Lansdale, Rollo, Monteleone, and more!) or at the bar.

Writing & The Publishing Biz / First person question

Hey all,

I just started my first novel and am thinking that it works best in 1st person. However, it would also work best to have different characters get chapters where they are also 1st person. Can anyone think of an example of where this has been done? I would like to check them out. I don't want to do the Dracula/letter thing either. I was thinking I could start each new section with a caption of who the narrator is, but that may be too cheesy.

I have a way to do it 3rd person...but it will lack the emotion I am looking for.

Any thoughts on this?

Movies & Television / Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog!

This is technically a website...but it is a TV show created and written by Mr. Joss Whedon. It is basically a Supervillain musical starring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, and Felicia Day(of The Guild fame) It is very funny and will only be up for a week...so go check it out...the last part will be up tomorrow(7/19)
